Food

I always find myself getting overemotional around you

It's like...
Food
You
Need it on a basic level but
It's a little more complex than that
You can go minutes, hours and days without it.
Only,
The cravings that escape the flavours of those molecules
Drawing you closer to it,
Till all you're left with is the bit at the end
Promised yourself you'd be on the mend
Waiting for the day your heart will send the message

No more
Heartbreak
Knocking at your door
Hysteria
That makes you bounce off the floor
Tours down memory lane leaving you as confused as before

So like food, I want you
However, I need you
Like air
The breath from your lips is the breeze through my hair

And what I love most is I can't help but stare
As you're trying on your tie
Cooking something nice
Or when I see that glint in your eye from the words on that page

At this stage
I more than love you
And you know that, too

Though I don't know how to tell you that I wanna take it to the next level
Where we don't have to separate or plan when I can next taste your kiss
I'm so tired of missing you
Hence,
Like the baby I am
The only way to show I'm your fan

Is to cry when you leave.

Men

Men, boys, guys
Males
So attractive, so ugly, so

Powerful yet weak, so gentle
As they speak, so tough

So rough as they gaggle
Amongst each other in their
Carefree way

Daddy is the Best
The only man you ever trust

The protection of your father is what a little girl needs
Daddy is a good man

He is a bad
Man, they are all bad
Men and good
One's as they lurk in
Shadows...Friends, that teach you
About music, and soul and
Passion and life

Men
They like to
Touch you as you
Move and stay
Still, they want to entice
You, but really they
Frighten you
Men
Do

Shattered, cracked
Broken childhood messed them
Up, that's why they don't give a
Duck about anything, control
With their palm, or tongue or...

Men, providing and disturbing the

Balance between the battlefield of
Females

We hate you
We love you
What would we do without you?
